Luwei Yang

I am a postdoctoral researcher at University of California, Los Angeles, working with Roy Barkan, Kaushik Srinivasan, and James McWilliams. I received my PhD in December 2019 from the University of Tasmania, under the supervision of Maxim Nikurashin, Andrew Hogg, and Bernadette Sloyan. My research interests lie in the ocean dynamics. I am particularly interested in the interaction of the ocean circulation across a range of scales and its role in the global ocean and climate.
